This list includes changes that are documented in the project. It is not a complete Git history, and it does not invent older releases.

September 2026

Added this changelog and a How it works page based on the current processing code.
Rewrote the About page to identify the maintainer, Tarak Moyyi, and to state what the product does not replace.
Grouped tools in navigation and on the catalog as document comparison, developer tools, and encoding tools. Existing tool URLs are unchanged.
Corrected Text Compare documentation: CRLF versus LF is treated as a line break, not as a change to every line.
Stated PDF Compare limits in the page itself: extracted text only, no OCR, no pixel comparison.
Documented Excel row rendering (sheet labels, pipe-separated cells, 1,200-row cap per sheet) and CSV support.
Documented SQL formatter limits, including no special CTE layout and no dialect validation.
Stopped returning raw parser exception text in PDF, Word, and Excel extraction failures. Those failures are logged and shown as a short message.
Published implementation guides: why the project exists, what an upload does, and how PDF text extraction behaves.

Published ads.txt for the AdSense publisher ID used by the site.
Expanded the contact page with support, privacy, and advertising paths.
Expanded several tool guides and blog posts, and replaced rolling “last updated” dates on the privacy and terms pages with fixed dates.
Fixed tool-to-guide links for Base64 and Excel.
